Keep Going!
This is a dance that I had choreographed for the Fine Arts Festival at Skyline. This piece made me grow as artist in a way that I never thought could happen. I first heard of this poem called "Body Positivity" by Mary Lambert in the summer of 2017. Just then I knew that I could possibly tell not only my own story, but others through my movement with this poem. I did exactly that. Preforming this piece, I was told that people related to the song and my movement. Along with, chills going through bodies and tears being brought to many peoples eyes. Moving in a way of being able to tell a story and connecting with the audience shows that this is defiantly my best work up to date.

This is a solo that I had auditioned for the last Choir Concert in the 2017-2018 school year. The song is from one of my favorite Disney movies called "Tangled". This year I have been pushing myself out of my comfort zone in singing. To finish it off this was the last time I was going to preform with the women's choir group at Skyline because earlier in the year I had auditioned for Allegro and Jazz and got accepted into Allegro. I believe that this demonstrates my growth as an artist due to the reason, that I have only been singing for just about a year now and being able to put all of my hard work and dedication into a new area of preforming had really seemed to pay off.
